Responsibility
- Prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner based on schedule.
- Picks up food materials from stores, checking quality and quantity received.
- Prepares mise-en-place such as garnitures for daily consumption.
- Cleans kitchen equipment after cooking.
- Makes sure all the refrigerator are clean all the time and well stocked with mise-enplace.
- Keeps the food trolleys clean at all times.
- Prepares all food to the standard.
- Maintain a high quality a standard of food based on hotel standards.
- Assists in preparation and execution assigned specific types of meals.
- Cooks and presents foods within specialty area.
- Responsible for all dishes prepared in respective section.
Qualification
-Male/Female; age not over 26 years.
-Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
-Minimum previous experience 1 to 5 years in a high volume kitchen or full-service hotel.
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
-Great personal hygiene and grooming standards.
-Should be able to communicate, read and write clearly and effectively.
